LOS ANGELES, CA — Captis Intelligence announced a partnership with Milestone Systems, the world's largest Video Management System provider, to deliver an industry-first embedded subject identification solution for the Milestone XProtect platform.

Captis ODSI (On-Demand Subject Identification) is a plug-in designed exclusively for Milestone XProtect VMS. It provides a completely embedded solution to instantly identify individuals in seconds with a single click. ODSI includes exclusive access to the Captis Criminal Database — at the time of launch the largest private international criminal database with 30+ million images — with 22,000+ locations already using Captis ODSI to identify thousands of criminals.

To use the integration, an operator pauses or stills a recorded incident and presses the Captis logo to instantly run an ODSI scan. Results are displayed by match percentages. The tool eliminates the need to scan general public images — it focuses only on subjects who have committed crimes, using only publicly available criminal records.
