CVS Signs National Agreement with Captis Intelligence

LOS ANGELES, CA — Fortune 500 retailer CVS (NYSE: CVS) signed a national agreement with Captis Intelligence. CVS, founded in 1963, is the largest pharmacy chain in the United States with nearly 10,000 locations, including over 1,100 MinuteClinic medical clinics.

The Captis I-4 system is utilized by the national CVS Loss Prevention team based in Rhode Island, supported by Captis' Los Angeles office. The announcement reflects a major acceleration in growth, with multiple Fortune 500 clients signed throughout 2018. CVS completed its initial review and proof of concept earlier in the year before proceeding to a national agreement.

The enterprise access includes ODSI (On Demand Subject Identification), PRISM (Protective Research & Investigation in Social Media), and Solveacrime.com.

Craig Vadnais, Senior Manager of Loss Prevention at CVS: "After a thorough evaluation, we confirmed the effectiveness of the Captis solution. It elevates our capabilities and provides highly effective intelligence and identification that directly supports our loss prevention mission."

Dario Brebric, President of Captis Intelligence: "We are very pleased to partner with CVS. They have one of the most advanced asset protection teams in the industry, and we are proud to play a part in enhancing their capabilities."
